What we do

Founded in 1992, Clove Technology has been trading since the early days of what can be considered modern portable devices as we know them. Back then 'smartphone' wasn't even really a word! We dealt primarily in PDAs, 'palmtops' and business-oriented cellular phones, sometimes working closely with manufacturers and software developers for the occasional custom installation & deployment. 

These days the market has moved on significantly, with Android & iOS smartphones having become a consumer commodity. There's still room for expert insider knowledge however, and the team at Clove have it in abundance.

We all know and love our tech so when it comes to advice, you can be assured we speak from experience and not just a sales pitch. We want to ensure you pick the best devices, accessories and satellite equipment to ensure as simple a deployment to your workers or project as possible.

We have highly-trained, knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are here to assist you every step of the way. No matter how technical or seemingly simple your questions, we understand that you need to understand.

We won't just tell you what the best product(s) are for a given situation, we'll explain why. If we suggest a more expensive option, we'll tell you in simple terms what the benefits are. And if we think you're looking at something unnecessary, we'll happily let you know if you can save on something more cost-effective that still meets requirements.

We also pride ourselves on our after sales care. If you have issues or questions after an initial deployment, we're always at hand to help out. We can act as a first point of contact for warranty repairs, as well as advising on features, settings and applications.

Loan Devices

It can be difficult to get a 'feel' of what smartphone you need without handling the product or getting it into a live setting. The best reviewed device on the market might feel fragile in the hands of your workers or have a critical incompatibility with your internal software that you wouldn't be aware of prior to purchase.

This is why we can look to arrange loan device(s). Simply contact us with your request and potential future order volume. A deposit may need to be paid to secure the handset(s) for a specified time and if you choose to keep them, a retroactive discount can be applied should you place an order for more.

A "try before you buy" is an excellent way to understand if a product will suit your workers, their workflow and your business as a whole.

We go the extra mile!

We worked with Noah’s Ark Charity on a great project to give something back to the children they work with every day.

Noah’s Ark Charity believes like us and you that children deserve the best possible care. This is a fantastic cause and their work for 20 years to provide the best possible facilities in children's hospitals is something to be admired.

They came to Clove with a request to have bespoke rugged tablet cases made with their branding.

Typically, Far East manufacturers are the cheapest for this kind of work, but will require a minimum of order of at least 1000 units. However the number of units Noah's Ark required was only small and so creating a bespoke case was prohibitively expensive.

So we at Clove came up with a great alternative solution. All they needed to do was provide us with the livery they wanted. We then dug into our list of contacts and found another UK company that could a custom skin to fit a standard rugged case already on the market.

This gave them exactly what they needed for a fraction of the price. And the results were excellent! We were so glad to hear that these products are now being enjoyed by the children served by Noah’s Ark Charity.

Can you blind/direct/white-label ship?

Absolutely! We can directly ship UK addresses without invoicing or other documentation which suggests the package came from or a supplier other  than yourselves.

Please note this is not available for international deliveries due to invoicing & documentation requirements when exporting goods.

How do I place an order?

Once we have a relationship in place, most of our business clients place their orders via email with a PO. Payment can be made by credit card over the phone, or via a secure online portal, although we prefer BACS transfer (and this may be required to secure preferential pricing for larger orders).

We may also be able to provide voucher codes and/or account-specific discounts so you can order via our website at lower rates.

Do you provide volume pricing?

Yes! Depending upon your requirements pricing for volumes starting at 5 units can often be provided straight away.

Large volumes will often require bespoke quotations and may require additional time to obtain and collate stock ready for dispatch.

Do you provide credit accounts?

Yes - Credit limits and terms are assessed and provided on a case by case basis. Please contact us for more information.

I am looking for a product you do not stock - Can you get it?

Probably! Our website is geared towards the sale of consumer smartphones and some other related tech, although we have great relationships with manufacturers and distribution partners who offer much more.

We have access to Drones, Cameras, Laptops, Desktop PCs & Monitors, Networking Equipment, Televisions, Interactive Whiteboards and much more.

Just ask a member of our team if you can’t find what you are looking for - we can generally obtain most branded equipment from both the consumer and corporate audio-visual space.
