Use a hard disk to buffer print jobs, collate large jobs or to store forms, fonts or macros. Features - These key functions are enabled when an optional hard disk is installed:Job Building, Printer lockout, storage used by Application Solutions such as FormsMerge Job Buffering (print spooling), email spooling, font and macro storage, User-based billing, Job Park (through a power-off and power-on cycle), hard disk-related administration (Disk wiping, Disk encryption, Disk diagnostics). - The 'Disk Encryption' function provides a randomly generated encryption key used to encrypt all data stored on the hard disk. This key generated by each printer is unique to that specific printer. - With 'Printing Lockout', a disk may also be locked with a user PIN. This prevents any submitted jobs from printing. All held jobs are stored on the hard disk until it is unlocked. 'Disk Encryption' should be used with this setting.
HP Serial ATA Hard Drives maximize the performance of HP Business PCs by providing the technologies to meet your increasing storage demands with high-capacity drives offering superior reliability and performance. HP Serial ATA 6.0-Gb/s Hard Drives offer data transfer rates of up to 6 Gb per second doubling your interface speed over SATA 1.5-Gb/s Hard Drives.
- Improved protocol for enhanced data integrity
- Enhanced security prevents access to user data until one or two user-defined passwords are provided
- Thinner and smaller serial cables and connectors for easy routing and improved system cooling
- SMART IV technology constantly checks that the data flow from host interface to media and media to host interface is not compromised.
- Native Command Queuing allows the hard drive to have several write or read commands outstanding at the same time
Seagate Exos Enterprise Hard Drives power the datasphere, enabling data centre architects and IT professionals to deliver trusted performance, rock-solid reliability and the best possible ROI for demanding 24x7 operations.
Scalable. Responsive. Innovative
For everything hyperscale, there’s ExosTM X — the most powerful way to access the datasphere and harness the full potential of the cloud. Increase the storage capacity of your system with the 600 GB Hard Drive from Dell. Offering a rotational speed of 10,000 RPM, this drive provides fast disk access. Featuring SAS interface, this hard drive delivers enhanced data transfer speeds.
To buy the right hard drive it is important that you know the interface type of your computer. The interface type determines the compatibility to a system. Common interface types today are IDE (also known as PATA), SATA, or SCSI. SCSI interface type may come in different pin configurations. Speed and Capacity determine how much data can be stored and how fast the data can be accessed. The higher the capacity, the more data can be stored. Similarly, the higher the speed, the faster the computer can access or write data to/from the hard drive.
Increase the storage capacity of your system with the 600GB Hard Drive from Dell. Offering a rotational speed of 10K RPM, this drive provides fast disk access. Featuring SAS interface, this hard drive delivers enhanced data transfer speeds.
