Submersed in style, the Motorola Edge 40 is here with the power to empower your day. With a 50MP primary camera, you can take beautiful photos with more detail and record up to 8K videos. Additionally, it features a 6.55-inch Endless Edge Display, benefits from a MediaTek Dimensity 8020, and has TurboPower 68W charging.
With an incredible Dual 50MP camera, the Motorola Edge 40 helps you capture awe-inspiring images with brightness and clarity. It is the perfect way to capture beautiful portraits, spectacular wide shots, or detailed close-ups.
You can record in 8K UltraHD, allowing for extraordinary detail in every fleeting moment, even in low-light environments, meaning you can enjoy them for years.
The Edge 40 also has a 32MP front camera, so all your selfies will capture every beautiful facial feature, whether the subject is you, your partner, or a whole group of friends.
Enjoy the total immersion of the 6.55" Endless Edge Display, which features pOLED and HDR10+ technology. In addition, DCI-P3 brings you brighter and more vibrant colours to enhance your viewing.
The 144Hz refresh rate offers smoother streaming, scrolling, and gaming, while the 360Hz touch rate will keep you ahead of the action.
With the Mediatek Dimensity 8020 octa-core processor, you can take advantage of the latest apps and smooth graphics. This smoothness is improved further by the fact that the Edge 40 also features 8GB of RAM. In addition, 256GB of internal storage gives you extra room for media, apps and more. Meanwhile, Dolby Atmos pushes the audio quality to another level with brighter colours and increased sound clarity.
The impressive 86W TurboPower charging provides a full day of power within 10 minutes, so you never have to wait for your phone to charge. Or free yourself from cables altogether with the 15W wireless charging.
Really good phone. Can't recommend enough.
Great phone, does everything that I need. Like the size and shape of phone. No complaints. Sold at a very good price. Happy customer
Ordered/paid for brand new Motorola Edge 40 but received an opened box phone, got no response when calling countless times over a number of days, absolutely horrible customer service, will NEVER consider Clove Technology for any future purchases.
I've had a series of Motorola phones over the last 10 years or so, each time going for a slightly higher spec. This upgrade from a G60s to the Edge 40 is the biggest upstep of all. I love the pOLED screen which is great for watching football and YouTube. Performance is smooth with no lagging or stuttering. The included case is welcome, only adding a little to the slim profile. I added a curved screen protector as I'm not sure how much scratch resistance the phone has. Audio is very good and a simple passive USB C to 3.5mm adapter gives very good sound. Battery longevity isn't as good as my old phone but it charges so fast it really doesn't matter. I've not tried the wireless charging or cameras yet, but the latter isn't really a priority for me as I have a DSLR for that. Promised OS updates aren't great but as I tend to swap phones every 2 years or so I'm not that bothered. All in all, a fantastic phone for £220.
What about ongoing firmware updates, recently purchased Motorola G84 and you only get one update to Android 14?
Would be interested in this model if there were at least 3 updates
